Reasons for migrating

When we are talking about migration, the main reason that comes to our minds is improving our quality of life, or having a higher standard of living. Well, we are used to think that because of our social environment, here in our country Ecuador, a very high percentage of families have a member who have migrated, because like thirty years ago, the economy was very unstable, and they have no other choice, because of doubts or lack of jobs, things like these. But there are more reasons for migration, not necessarily because of money issues.

Education

One of the main reasons for migration is the education, because the students look for better opportunities that they wouldn't find in their own country, in Ecuador, the people who can afford this, don't have money issues, and they migrate just for a time, and when they get their scholarship, they return to their country, or in some cases they stay there.

Political Reasons

Some people are chased by the government, and example here in Ecuador is the case of Emilio Palacio, who wrote an article for a well-known newspaper criticizing the current president Rafael Correa.

Personal reasons

Well, this is another reason which includes: because of job, a conference in other country or things like that, going to other countries because of sports is also considered migration, for example there are a lot of soccer players around the world that are not in their country, they play for a team from another country. Other example can be a medical treatment, people go out looking for better treatments or doctors.

In conclusion, people have a lot of reasons for migrating, but the main goal is to get something, they so this because they need something that they can't find in their own country, or better offers, but I think that this can be beneficial or not, you can improve your life, but you can destroy your family as well.

A Great Experience

I had such a great experience in my school. Well, not really in my school, but was like an obligated program, but it was worth it.
We had to go out to the streets and keep saving money by selling different kind of products such as eggs, vegetables, fruits and even desserts. Honestly going out on saturdays in the morning was tired, but at the end we could see the happiness of all the children that we were helping.
So , you should be asking, where is the meal? I'm going to answer that. At the last day of the program, we went to the foundation, we met all the children and they greet us full of joy and happiness. So we had a meal with the children, and it was truly such a great experience, personally I could see that I must be thanked for all the things that I have, they have disabilities, and they're still happy, in my opinion that's admirable. These children everyday have to fight against their sickness, for some of them, doctors have already told them that they are not going to live longer, but they never surrender and just keep fighting. That's pretty remarkable.
